International Certification in Health and Rescue in Extreme Environments

Description

Activity at altitude, mining and extreme environments presents unique challenges to health and safety. This course provides knowledge and practical skills to prevent, diagnose and treat emergencies in adverse conditions, integrating international protocols and the use of satellite telemedicine technologies.

  • Identify and manage the main pathologies associated with altitude and extreme environments.
  • Apply international protocols of mountain medicine and occupational health in mining.
  • Implement satellite telemedicine for diagnosis and follow-up in the field.
  • Organize and carry out medical evacuations in hard-to-reach contexts.
  • Coordinate and participate in practical high-mountain drills.
